Enjoy a full-day tour of Hanoi with Tour guide and get a local’s insight into Vietnam’s mythology, traditions and customs. Visit cultural and historical sites, such as the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, as well as everyday locales such as the houses of the Old Quarter.
Following a pick-up at your hotel by your guide and driver, go to the Ho Chi Minh Complex to discover the heart of Viernam at “Uncle Ho’s” Mausoleum. Standing before the mausoleum are 79 cycad trees, symbolizing Ho Chi Minh’s 79 springs of life, while 2 bamboo ranges whistle in the wind to commemorate the former president and Father of the Nation.
See the nearby house-on-stilts and quaint One-Pillar Pagoda, built out of wood for the 11th-century Emperor Lý Thái Tông. Continue to the Enthnology Museum – a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. The mission of the Museum is scientific research, collection, documentation, conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s different ethnic groups
Next visit would be the Galary of Lacque Paiting Collection. The best of handicraft of the north of Vietnam. Then you would have lunch at Local restarant with the deep touch of the art of Hanoi Cuisine.
You will then visit the Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070 and originally built as a temple to Confucius. Inside you can see the stone steles mounted on the backs of turtles, which have the names of Vietnam’s best scholars inscribed. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society place on education both now and in the past.
After the lunch. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant eastern sector of Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and Huc Bridge. Walking around the Old Quarter and mingle with the locals as they go about their hectic lives.
End with a 30-minute Cyclo Tour around the Old Quater of Hanoi to have the best view of life of Hanoian.

Day 1: HANOI – NINH BINH (HOA LU) (L)
After breakfast, drive to Hoa Lu (2 hour drive), the ancient royal capital of Vietnam. On the way, visit temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasty kings. Continue your trip to Tam Coc and take a bicycle ride along picturesque roads amidst beautiful green paddy fields. End the bicycle tour at a local restaurant and stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, board a small sampan for a spectacular 2-hour trip through caves, waterways and beautiful rural landscape consisting of limestone cliffs and rice paddies.
Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 2: NINH BINH – NAM DINH – HALONG (B – L – D)
After breakfast, depart for the stunning Halong Bay located in the Gulf of Tonkin. On the way, stop for a sigh seeing tour in Hai Phong city including a visit to a local architecture such as Pho Minh pagoda, Tran temple
Arrive at Halong City, check in and board a junk. Lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay.
In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and activities or just spend some time relaxing on board (Possibility to swim in the bay if weather permits). Dinner is served on board.
Overnight on Halong Bay.
Note: Visits or activities will be slightly different depending on each junk’s itinerary. Your tour guide will be replaced by a local guide on board during your cruise.
Day 3: HALONG – HANOI (B – Brunch)
After breakfast, the cruise continues navigating past limestone karsts, many of which form highly photogenic shapes. The cruise ends around 11 am. Drive back to Hanoi. On the way, visit Tho Ha or Phu Lang village (*) where you can enjoy a walk and visit a variety of small ceramic workshops.
Note: Breakfast, lunch or brunch will be served on board depend each junk‘s service.
(*) Applied for programs from Ha Long Bay, Tuan Chau habor – it is not applicable for programs from Lan Ha Bay.

On arrival, board a shared junk for a 24-hour excursion navigating through some of the most truly breathtaking views in the country. The junk passes by numerous islets and stops at a natural cave. Leave Hanoi early morning and take a 4.5 hour drive to Mai Chau. Arrive in the

Enjoy some light trekking through the beautiful villages of the White Thai Minority and take in the picturesque views of the scenic landscape and rural villages.
